The PGDM program was started in 1981 & it is approved by AICTE. The part time MBA program offered by IMT is intends to create managerial competencies in working professionals.

About IMT Part Time PGDM (MBA) programme

IMT Part time MBA programme comprises of nine terms spread over a period of three years and each term is approximately 3 month in duration. The students have the flexibility to complete the programme within five years of joining.

Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with 2 years of work experience after graduation (one year in case of Post -Graduation or those with professional qualification).

Admission Process

Candidate has to qualify an entrance exam followed by personal interview to get an admission into IMT part time MBA. Selection in the programme is based on academic performance, experience and performance of the candidate in the personal interview.

Candidate is required to pay the fee in the following structure.

First Year

1st term: Rs.64,000
2nd term: Rs.42,000
3rd term: Rs 42,000

Second Year

4th term: Rs.55,500
5th term: Rs.42,000
6th term: Rs.42,000

Third year

7th term: Rs.53,500
8th term: Rs.42,000
9th term: Rs.42,000

How IMT Part Time MBA is Different from Distance MBA

The part time MBA programme is different from distance learning management programmes in terms of academic content, regularity and rigour. It provides similar class room contact hours as that of two year full time programme which is definitely higher than distance learning management programmes. The quality & content of Part time MBA program is almost same the only difference is it takes longer time compare to full time MBA program.
